WHY BECOME A MENTOR?
Community Events & Activities
In addition to the circles, we also plan fun activities. So far, we have gone indoor and outdoor rock climbing and whitewater rafting!
Personal
Fulfillment
Being a mentor is personally enriching, enabling you to share your knowledge and experience with girls who may benefit from it.
Connection
G2W is a family. Our circles harbor connection between our mentors and mentees. We encourage our mentors to be just as vulnerable as our mentees to model the behavior we wish to see in the circles.
Mentorship
Our mentors act as teachers, confidants, coaches, and motivators to our mentees.
Trainings
All mentors have access to mentor trainings that provide you with lifelong skills needed to be a successful mentor.

Confidant
A mentor at G2W has four roles when working with a mentee: a motivator, teacher, confidant, and coach.

A motivator encourages honest self-reflection and autonomy in decision making.
A teacher models good behavior.
A confidant actively listens, guides and advocates.
A coach helps identify goals and supports a mentee in achieving them.
